With a passion for Hollywood, Michael Aaron Gallagher began his writing career as a movie critic. His personal movie collection includes more than 1,800 films. One of his first movie reviews was written for his high school film class about Meet Joe Black. After applying to be a movie critic for The Post Standard, he was instead offered the opportunity to write weekly TV reviews. This began his journey working with Hollywood publicists and television studios.

He continued to write movie reviews for his entertainment blog, which at one point was ranked #24 in the Television category and #51 in the Movie category on Technorati.
