By Michael Aaron Gallagher
You are like the summer breeze,
the shadows cast by moonbeams,
your crazy ways enchanting me,
still nothing is as nothing seems.
A comet falls across the sky,
it sparkles like your open eyes,
the words I try to find take flight,
you knew you’d know they’re no surprise.
On shooting stars I’d wish for you,
if only I could make them true,
Oh the things that I would do,
for you – for you – for you.
